People are stupid. This is not the only option. We should keep Saturday delivery and cut the pay and benefits of postal workers rather than laying off a few of them. That is, of course, only if you can’t stomach privatizing / eliminating the money-losing, identity-theft enabling, SPAM delivering postal service.
